The Plymouth County Democratic League is one of the oldest continuous political organizations in Massachusetts, founded in 1934 when Plymouth County was a Republican stronghold. Democrats are fighting to make Plymouth County a better place to live, work, and raise a family. While a lot has changed since the days when Franklin Roosevelt passed the New Deal and created Social Security, Medicare, and the five-day workweek; the Plymouth County Democratic League remains focused on electing Democratic politicians to help working families.
